I'm in Washington for the holidays and am enjoying time with family. Today, we had a rare batch of blue sky, so my brother, sister-in-law, their cat-who-is-more-like-a-dog-than-a-cat, and I headed to the local soccer field. Brother plays soccer, so he was the only one with mad moves; but boy, we all had fun.
It was a limbic system retraining victory.
Happy Tuesday, my friends!

Seeing you kick a soccer ball around makes me so happy, Sarah! Their cat looks like a character!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ann, for celebrating with me! Kicking that ball around was just one of the most glorious things. I haven't moved that much in a couple of years, and I could feel my muscle memory from my track days awakening. I just wanted to sprint and sprint, though I'll save that for further down this road of healing. :)
DeleteThe cat is a hoot! She's a savannah cat, so she's more like a dog than a cat. She is very relational and my brother and his wife walk her on a leash. It's hilarious.
